Atlatec: Digitizing Road Environments for CarSim

Atlatec digitizes road networks with a high precision mobile mapping system. These scans capture common road details like lane markings, traffic signs, guard rails, curbs, and more. The results can be imported into CarSim.

Real world geometry for CarSim ADAS simulations allow you to run your virtual tests in a realistic environment.

More information can be found on Atlatec's website.

Mechanical Simulation at SAE COMVEC 17

The 2017 SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition (ComVec) takes place this year at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel and Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Focusing on symposia and interactive panel discussions, this year’s ComVec event represents a solutions-oriented technical program with the intention of allowing industry members of all skill levels to gather together to share ideas and information relevant in today’s commercial vehicle industry.

Mechanical Simulation Corporation’s Ben Duprey will be serving as a session co-organizer on panels representing Vehicle System Level CAE and Autonomous / ADAS. Ben will also be serving as a panelist for two sessions: Vehicle System Level CAE and Data Driven Decisions in Industry.

SAE ComVec 2017 runs Monday – Wednesday, September 18 – 20, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel and Conference Center in Rosemont, IL.
